Student of the Month Acknowledgment

Student of the month is a program for good citizenship for students that is up and running in 8 of the 16 schools. Each month, every grade picks a “best person of the month;” someone who is helpful, kind, diligent, performs good works such as picking up trash, and is not a bully. This person is picked by their peers, not a teacher, and no student may be selected twice. Winners get a certificate of recognition and the schools have an assembly where each student is recognized. As the program continues to develop, we hope to create halls of fame to celebrate the successes of these students in each school.
