Tree Planting Program

Mirembe Words of Wisdom, growth and lessons learnt in the process was an appreciation of the environment and power of climate change. To put this awareness into action, Mirembe Words of Wisdom chose to implement a tree planting campaign over the next 3 years 2022-2025 to aim at a minimum of 10,000 trees planted. The tree planting cooperation will involve all participants in their local areas, not only as schools but also as villages and family units.

It is our hope that children will bring these lessons to their own families and improve households in a campaign to slow down climate change and threat to environmental health. We are pleased to see the commitment to the tree planting campaign at each of the schools, and this being in conjunction with the nutritional vegetable planting campaign.
